Embracing their southern roots, Dark Corner Distillery set out to make legit, high-end moonshine. While their packaging and logo were already created, we helped clean up their files and developed branding and marketing materials to support national distribution.

For self-sufficient makers, 40 to 50 years old, with a deep connection to their history and heritage, The World’s Best Moonshine allows them to continue living an authentic southern lifestyle by sharing the best of this Blue Ridge tradition. After talking to locals whose grandparents were among the Celtic settlers who brought us this craft, Dark Corner Distillery took the best recipes they found, ones passed down through generations, and created a remarkably smooth corn whiskey worthy of its name.

Branding and marketing efforts focused on communicating what makes this literally “The World’s Best Moonshine,” while also continuing to share the lifestyle and heritage of this storied, southern tradition that lives on with each sip.

Our assignment was to create a core branding campaign to build awareness and drive growth with a national audience. This campaign was brought to life with a website refresh, scaleable, recurring social content, primary marketing materials and key influencer direction. At completion, all creative elements used were saved to create an asset library, accompanied by a document for providing usage guidance.


After helping with their launch on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, we developed a sustainable content strategy and calendar with ready-to-go creative.


To establish TWBM as authentically southern, we created a series of branded posts aimed to meet fans where they were in life.


Focusing on classic, southern and easy-to-make drinks, we developed an ownable way to share the best ways to enjoy TWBM.


These sharable quotes from classic, all-american #MoonshineMen, allowed TWBM to join the #ManCrushMonday conversation.


Poetically written posts, designed to be both entertaining and educational, continued the tradition of sharing these legendary stories.


With a name that proclaims it’s the best, we created a variety of ways to regularly share announcements of awards as proof.


For diversity, as well as to benefit our community of fans, we created a library of relevant 3rd-party content they could share.
